About Stephanie Jennings
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a degree in business administration, Stephanie began her golf career as an assistant pro at Lakelands Country Club in Brighton, MI. She became active in the Michigan PGA’s Assistants’ Association and served as secretary in 2002. Jennings went on to work at Barton Hills Country Club, then served as Director of Golf Programs at the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) from 2006-2011, leading the EWGA Championship to a record participation year and earning an ING Industry Honors Award.
In 2012, Jennings became Director of Communications/Player Development Coordinator for the Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA before returning to Michigan in 2015 as Director of Player Development for Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club and its sister courses. She joined Meadowbrook Country Club in 2017, increasing women's participation by 35% with a new welcome-to-golf program.
Jennings spent six years as Head Women’s Golf Coach at Eastern Michigan University, leading the team to four wins and helping establish the GameAbove Golf Performance Center. A dedicated member of the PGA, she became the first female officer of the Michigan PGA Board in 2020 and previously served as Secretary and Vice President.
Originally from Ohio, Jennings met her husband Brian at Barton Hills. They now live in Walled Lake, MI, with their daughters Sophia and Evelyn, and dog Charlie.
